Youth Parliament

The National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) is a program by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs that helps students learn about parliamentary procedures and democratic institutions. The program aims to:
1. Develop leadership skills.
2. Promote tolerance and discipline.
3. Help students understand democratic principles.
4. Make students aware of social and national issues.
5. Teach students how to form opinions on public issues.
6. Help students learn to express the perspectives of the common person.
